Dashawn wears a short-sleeved maroon t-shirt and a golden smiley-face necklace with red eyes. He also wears dark blue jeans with black cross patterns and a huge red cross on the left pant, and black shoes. He wears his long, voluminous black hair in a low bun. He has a deep taupe complexion and the "Sigmund" face.

- The name Dashawn (/də.ˈʃɔːn/) means "God is Gracious" in African American origin.
- Dashawn is one of the five characters to be saved from removal in a Flicker update, with the others being Mary, Nikolai, Rita, and Tamia.
