Flicker is a murder mystery game that was created on January 12th, 2018, developed by croire and joritochip. It is housed by the group JJ Studios.
Overview[]
Upon joining the game, players spawn in a lobby which consists of a sketchy street corner guided by an abundance of shops and other types of buildings, along with an underground subway station which leads to the queue area. Players can enter the queue area to start a round. The game consists of 3 separate teams (Good, Evil, & Neutral) and the objective of the game is to survive until the end of the round. Players may interrogate suspects, tell fates, protect others, point fingers, help the killer evade capture, or be the killer and kill everyone.

Flicker has wide array of characters that you can play as. They can only appear on Anonymous Mode and Classic Mode. At the start of a round, you're allowed to choose three character types: Male, Female, and Non-Binary. Selecting "Random" will automatically pick one character with any gender in the roster.
As of now, there are currently 84 playable characters in Anonymous Mode and 47 playable characters in Classic Mode.
Roles[]
Main Article: Roles
In Flicker, roles are the main function that are played by players. Roles are separated into teams: the Good Team, the Evil Team, and the Neutral Team. Each role has a utility and behavior. If the Main Team manages to eliminate the Opposite Team, the Main Team wins, and vice versa.
In Regular Mode & Anonymous Mode, there are 8 Roles (5 Good, 3 Evil, & 1 Neutral) and 5 Roles (4 Good & 1 Evil) in Classic Mode.
Gamemodes[]

There are gamemodes in Flicker players can choose. Gamemodes consists of Anonymous, Classic, and Regular. Each gamemode has different mechanics with Regular being the default gamemode while Anonymous having preset characters and Classic having the classic characters and roles.
Maps[]

Maps are places players can play a round at. Before the round, players can choose 3 randomized maps to be played at. There are currently 6 maps in-game.

- Flicker's original game was originally created on April 11th, 2017, 9 months before the main game was created.
- Flicker was inspired by Blank Media Games' game Town of Salem, which was released in 2014.
