Kim-Ly is a female character who appears in Anonymous Mode. She can be played when selecting Female or Random.

Appearance

Kim-Ly wears a white spaghetti-strapped crop-top and a green and red plaid ripped skirt fastened by a black grommet belt. She has her long black hair tied in two messy braids. She has a warm ivory complexion and the "Good Intentioned" face.

In her FCNS appearance, she has the "Classic Goof" face.

• Kim-Ly was one of the thirty characters revealed in the April 2nd, 2020 update.
• The name Kim-Ly (/'kim.li˧˦/; /'kim.lɪj˨˩˦/; /'kim.lɪj˦˥/) is written as "Kim Ly" in Vietnamese, without the hyphen.
  • Kim (金) means "Gold, Golden" in Sino-Vietnamese. Ly can have many meanings: "The lily flower", derived from "hoa ly", the native Vietnamese word for the flower; "Lapis lazuli" (璃), derived from "lưu ly" (琉璃); "Crystal/Glass" (璃), derived from "pha ly" (玻璃); or "Beauty" (丽).
  • While Kim Ly is considered a double-name in Vietnamese, in normal life and documents, only Ly is considered her first name, while Kim is seen as a surname or middle name. Therefore, she would be called Ly instead of Kim if she is not referred to as Kim Ly.
    • It is possible that Kim is her surname, as that name is one the fifty most common surnames in Vietnam. Vietnamese people may not have a middle name as well.
• Kim-Ly is one of the few characters to receive a name change. Previously, her name was Kim-ly, without a capital "L".
  • The name change was made in the 4.1.3 version of the game "to better represent how Vietnamese names are traditionally capitalized."
• Kim-Ly and Viola are canon enemies.
• Kim-Ly is one of the three characters to have punctuation marks in their names, the others being Jean-Claude and Ms. Santa.
  • Kim-Ly and Jean-Claude are also the only characters to exist in the game with a hyphen in their name.
• When in-game, Kim-Ly is seen without her full spaghetti straps, as the straps do not fully go over her shoulders.
• Kim-Ly is one of the thirteen characters who are two nationalities, as she is Vietnamese and Italian. The others are Aadiv, Alex, Amani, Annie, Charlotte, Elaina, Melodie, Lukey, Mikah, Minji, Odette, and Reza.
