Mary is a female character who appears in Anonymous Mode. She can be played when selecting Female or Random.

Appearance

Mary wears a white crop-top with a picture of white mountains on it, thigh-length denim jean-shorts held up by a black belt, black Converse shoes, and white ankle-length socks. She has her black hair tied into two pigtails held by yellow hair ties. She has a warm ochre complexion and the "Anguished" face.

Before the April 2nd, 2020 update, she wore a white crop-top with the text "patagonia" written on the bottom of the picture of the landscape, longer shorts, and the "Steampunk Shades".

• Mary is one of the nine females added to Flicker on March 1st, 2020.
• Mary is one of the characters that got a revamp on April 2nd, 2020.
  • Mary is one of the ten characters who were originally not going to end up in the game, due to them not placing high enough when the Flicker players got to decide which characters would end up in the game but ended up being saved by a developer, the others being Ally, Annie, Ash, Jackson, John, Kai, Lukey, Sabrina, and Thomas.
    • Mary is currently the only character to have been saved by a developer twice.
• The name Mary ( /ˈmɛɹ.i/; /ˈmæɹ.i/) means a lot of things, such as "Bitter", "Beloved", and many others.
• Mary can be seen on the removed thumbnail for the game as the Investigator, along with Lara as the Muffin Man, Jamila as a survivor, Elizabeth as the Medic, Alex as the Psychic, Charlie and Jean-Claude as Twins, and Liling with brown hair as the Murderer.
  • The thumbnail also appears in a picture frame on the bookshelf near the bedroom and solitary room in the House map.
• Mary is one of the seven characters with the "Anguished" face. The others are Ash, Bailey, Jo (before her revamp), Liza, and Mateo.
• Mary's original appearance is one of the twenty-two characters in Flicker who wear glasses.
• Mary can be seen on the Lantern Gamepass holding a lantern.
• When Mary's body is seen torn apart, you can see the text "BINA" (FourLetterWords) displayed on the bottom of her torso.
• Mary is one of the five characters to be saved from removal in a Flicker update, with the others being Dashawn, Nikolai, Rita, and Tamia.
