Mateo is a male character who appears in Anonymous Mode. He can be played when selecting Male or Random.
Appearance[]
Mateo wears an ash gray button-up denim jacket containing a large rip on the front and back over a distressed beige hoodie. He also wears cuffed, pastel blue acid-washed jeans, and black shoes with white soles. He has a brunette undercut with its long, windswept bangs off to the left side. He has a warm honey-nougat complexion and the "Anguished" face.

- The name Mateo (/ma.ˈte.o/) means "Gift Of God" in Spanish.
- Mateo and Reza are confirmed to be friends.
- It also states that he is an only child and was homeschooled.
- Mateo is one of the multitude of characters who appear in the lobby. Both his, Jian, and Jean-Claude's pants can be seen placed under the hanging clothes located in the Clothes Store.
- Their pants can be seen on a few other mannequins in the Clothes Store as well.
- His shirt can be seen hanging on a clothing rack in the same area.
- On March 9th, 2021, Mateo, Jean-Claude, and Jian had their pants deleted.
- The reasoning that Mateo had his pants deleted on March 9th, 2021 was because his pants had the Nike logo on them.
- This also happened to Nikolai, Nave, Ash, Jean-Claude, and Jian.
- However, after Jian's removal, which was on April 28th, 2021, Jean-Claude and Mateo got new pants.
- However, Mateo and Jean-Claude’s newly replaced pants were removed as well later on, although the reason for this is currently unknown.
- This also happened to Nikolai, Nave, Ash, Jean-Claude, and Jian.
- The reasoning that Mateo had his pants deleted on March 9th, 2021 was because his pants had the Nike logo on them.
