The Muffin Man is a Good Team role. It is one of the fourteen roles that appear in Anonymous Mode and Regular Mode.

The Muffin Man gets to deliver one muffin to one person each night. A muffin is purely cosmetic, meaning it does not give any special effects or abilities.

Tips and Tricks

• If you were assigned the Muffin Man role, you should reveal your role when necessary. Don't say your role too early, but later in the game when people are starting to suspect others more often. A smart Murderer or Assassin would kill the Muffin Man, since this role is easily proven and not suspicious.
  • If you do end up revealing your role early on, try to avoid giving muffins to people who ask for them, as these players could be killed by the Murderer/Assassin to frame the Muffin Man. This framing strategy ultimately hinges on no one receiving a muffin.
    • However, each Murderer/Assassin is different. When doing this, they might avoid killing the Muffin Man for a muffin to kill away suspicion against them.

Trivia

• There is only a 3.33% chance of getting the Muffin Man role without boosts from scrolls.
• The Muffin Man was the first-ever 'cosmetic' role to be implemented into the game.
• The Muffin Man is often considered a lucky role as some Murderers/Assassins enjoy receiving a muffin and will spare the Muffin Man.
• Before the v3.0.0 update, if the Muffin Man gave a muffin to a Twin, the other twin would not receive a muffin.
• The Muffin Man is one of the three roles that end with the suffix "-man."
  • The other two are the Pumpkin Man and the scrapped Milkman role.
    • Additionally, all these roles fall under the "Cosmetic" role class.
• There is currently a typo in the "Abilities" section ("Deliver muffin at night"). The correct spelling should be "Deliver muffins at night."
• The Muffin Man replaced the Milkman in the v1.1.1 update.
• During the Halloween 2020 event, this role was replaced by the Pumpkin Man, who gave out pumpkins instead of muffins. After the Halloween 2020 event, the Pumpkin Man was removed and the Muffin Man returned.
