Qasim is a male character who appears in Anonymous Mode. He can be played when selecting Male or Random.

Appearance

Qasim wears a red, Tommy Hilfiger branded sweater, dark blue distressed jeans, and white sneakers. He has a black undercut with the rest of his hair swept back. He has a warm honey-nougat complexion and the "Heeeeeey..." face.

In his previous appearance, Qasim was shirtless because the shirt item was deleted.

In his original appearance, Qasim wore a crimson red V-neck sweater with a pattern of pigs holding a tuba. He was also named Muhammad.

• Qasim was one of the thirty characters revealed in the April 2nd, 2020 update.
• The name Qasim (/ˈqaː.sim/) means "One who distribute" in Arabic.
  • His old name, Muhammad, means "Praised" in Arabic.
• Qasim is one of the five characters with the "Heeeeeey..." face. The others are Aren, Elaina, Odette, and Rosalie (if you count Rosalina, then it is one out of six).
• Before a minor update, the game showed some characters names to show only partially. Muhammad was one of these names, causing it to show as "Muham".
• Qasim was previously named Muhammad.
  • It is believed that the reason why his name got changed to Qasim could be because the first-ever bearer of the name, Abu al-Muhammed ibn 'Abd Allh ibn 'Abd al-Mualib ibn Hshim, was the founder of Islam and a prophet, playing a massive part in the history of Islam. It would be considered offensive, given that someone who shares a name with someone who played a big part in the founding of a religion, would be forced to become the murderer, given that the game chooses the character and role for the player.
• Qasim is one of the four April 2nd characters that got revamped. The others are Aren, Mila, and Nikolai.
• Qasim is the only April 2nd character that has gotten his name changed.
• Out of all the Flicker characters (excluding Chlorine and Rita), Qasim is part of the 28.6% of those who have a warm honey-nougat complexion.
• Qasim is one of the eight characters who used to have old names before their name change. The others are Jackson, Jo, Lara, Lukey, Melodie, Kiryomi, and Rosalie. However, he is the only one whose name has changed by translation.
• Qasim was the first and only character to not have a shirt.
  • On December 3rd, 2020, Qasim received a new, placeholder shirt.
• Qasim, along with Nave and Nikolai, are the only characters that received a revamp on December 3rd, 2020.
  • Nikolai and Nave received a revamp due to the deletion of their clothing.
• Qasim, along with Colleen, John, Jojo, Jordan, Marley, and Nave, currently hold the title of having the most revamps of all the other characters in Flicker.
