The Scout is an Evil Team role in Flicker. The Scout can be played as in Regular Mode and Anonymous Mode.

The Scout can "bug" - or otherwise scout out - one player per night. The Scout will be informed if any other player(s) used an ability on their target.

Tips and Tricks

Tips

• Consider omitting information about a player using an ability on a now-deceased player, That could raise suspicion on your team!
• Aim for obvious targets to scout out. Players who announce their role are a good place to start!

Tricks

• Do what you can to communicate with the Evil Team. Send them notes to cue them into what you know.
• Try claiming to be the Spy! Forge information to frame members of the Good Team. An example is to accuse the Psychic or the Medic of being the Murderer! This can give your teammates cover if you are eliminated. Note that if you succeed and Murderer kills continue you will be exposed. Use at your own risk.
• Defend your Evil teammates from accusations of being evil. This can indicate to your teammates that you are on the same side, if you are having difficulty communicating.
• A strong tactic to survive is to blend in with the Good Team. Give them information that was not forged to build trust!

• The Scout is the Evil Team's counterpart of the Spy.
• There cannot be a Scout and a Witch in the same round.
• The Scout and the Witch have violet text motifs, symbolizing their "Malicious" status.
• There is a 3.33% base-level chance of playing as the Scout.
