The Witch is a member of the Evil Team in Flicker. It is one of fourteen roles in the Flicker and Anonymous game modes.

The Witch can block one player per night from using their special ability for that same night. The Witch cannot bewitch the Murderer.

Tips and Tricks

• If a player you didn't witch that night claims to be witched the next day, they're probably Evil.
• The Witch's bewitching effect only lasts for one night. If you have found a player who you wish to indefinitely block: you will need to use your ability on them each night.
• Make sure you're blocking the ability of a member of the Good Team!
• Players with an ability will be informed that they have been "witched." The Survivors, Twins, and Murderer will not be informed. You can use this to infer whether a player has an ability or not.
• Aim for strong roles that are a threat to your team, such as the Detective or the Psychic.
• If you're not sure who you want to block and you want to stay hidden: do not bewitch anyone.
• Try blocking the Muffin Man, so that they cannot prove their innocence, making players suspect them!
• You don't have to bewitch anyone! Try using that to your advantage. Convince the other players that you were bewitched to fool them into thinking that you are not the Witch. Be mindful of how your Evil teammates will respond to your claims.
• Bewitch the Savior so that their revival does not occur. You are the only one who can stop them!

• There cannot be a Witch and a Scout in the same round.
• The Witch and the Scout have violet text motifs, symbolizing their "Malicious" status.
• The Witch is the only role that can prevent the Savior's revival.
• There is a 3.33% base-level chance of playing as the Witch.
• The Witch was leaked by Lead Developer croire in the JJ Studios Community Discord server on August 8th, 2019, 10 months before the June 22nd, 2020 update.
